Jim Bizer wsg Stan Budzynski

It was a cool, clear, comfortable summer night, and we finally got to hold an outdoor concert! Stan Budzynski, winner of the Capital Area Blues Brawl, played a rare aocustic blues show playing a solo slide tune, then joined by his 3rd Degree bandmate Ron Bretz on bass and Don Cadwell on harmonica. It was a nice mix of original blues - good luck to Stan and 3rd Degree at the International Blues Competition in Memphis February 2005. After Stan's set, Jim Bizer took the stage, er . . . lawn. Jim is one of the finest singer-songwriters in the Midwest and he lived up to his reputation. His 75 minute set featured a varied selection of songs from his two CDs, including the award-winning "Connected". A great guitar player, writer, and performer - Jim mixed the profound with the fun and kept the crowd totally entertained!
